Kari was born in Gainesville, FL and has lived in Southwest Florida since 1998. Kari has had a passion for hair since she was 13 years old volunteering at a local salon in Cape Coral. While volunteering there in Kari's free time she began styling the mannequins hair in the back room, all the while reading books and watching videos on how to create updos. She then realized, along with the salons staff, that she had a talent for hair.

When asked her favorite thing about her career she says, “I genuinely love the challenge of a client showing/telling me what they would like their hair to look like and me coming up with a plan to make it happen if possible. Hair really can change a lot about someone's persona. It's something special to be able to help others see their beauty and to help them feel more confident."
