Biljana is originally from Yugoslavia and has been in the hair industry for 33 years, fourteen of which, have been in Southwest Florida. In Yugoslavia she shadowed/assisted hairdressers after school, but once she came to the U.S. she went to cosmetology school in Wisconsin, barely able to speak English. Her skills were recognized by the teachers and she was recommended to work at a very high end specialized salon, where she grew as a Master Stylist.

Upon moving to Denver, she took a position as Color Specialist at an Aveda concept salon. Here Biljana became a member of International Intercoiffure, attending higher levels of education and participated in International Hair & Fashion shows raising funds for battered women charities.
